SUMMER PICNIC 夏日野餐联谊活动

2021年7月31日，美国中国总商会芝加哥举办了会员夏日野餐联谊活动。万向美国公司、万达芝加哥地产公司、中车四方、中国南方航空公司芝加哥办事处、中远芝加哥、潍柴美国公司、中国货运航空、金风科技美国公司、bKL Architecture LLC、Hylant、Locke Lord LLP、Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP、美国华人金融协会，等多家跨国公司会员企业近百名嘉宾出席了本次活动。

On July 31, 2021, the China General Chamber of Commerce U.S.A. – Chicago held a summer picnic for its members. Wanxiang American Corporation, Wanda America Investment Holding Co. Ltd, CRRC Sifang, China Southern Airlines, COSCO Chicago, Weichai America，China Cargo Airlines, Goldwind Americas, bKL Architecture L.L.C., Hylant, Locke Lord L.L.P.,Katten Muchin Rosenman L.L.P.,CFAA, and nearly a hundred guests from our multinational member companies attended the event.

美国中国总商会芝加哥执行总监李洁女士致欢迎词，并转达了中国驻芝加哥总领馆胡盈之商务参赞的祝贺信。胡参赞对商会目前取得的丰硕成果和在疫情中所举办的各类援助活动给予了高度评价，对商会广大会员在促进中美两国商业交流和友好互动中所做出的努力表示真挚的感谢，并呼吁大家持续重视防疫工作。

Ms. Jie Li , Executive Director of the CGCC Chicago, delivered a welcome speech and conveyed a congratulation letter from Yingzhi Hu , Counselor of the Consulate General of China in Chicago. Counselor Hu spoke highly of the fruitful results of CGCC Chicago and the various assistance activities held during the pandemic. Meanwhile, he expressed his sincere gratitude to the members of CGCC Chicago for their efforts in promoting business exchanges and Sino-U.S. relations and called on everyone to continue paying attention to pandemic prevention work.

万向美国公司总裁、美国中国总商会芝加哥会长倪频先生发表了致辞，回顾了万向联谊活动的历史，并介绍了各位参会嘉宾，既体现了本次野餐会的商务气息，也让在场的家属们感受到了温馨的大家庭氛围。倪总介绍了了本次野餐会的奖品之一（三等奖），1921年美国财政部发行的纪念银币，百年华诞纪念币配上万向标识定制的专属礼盒，非常具有纪念价值及历史意义。

Mr. Pin Ni, President of Wanxiang America and Chairman of CGCC Chicago, delivered a speech that provided us a review of networking activities and introduced all the attendees. By doing so, he created the business atmosphere and built a family environment for us by bringing warmth. Lastly, Mr. Ni introduced the third prize of this picnic, the silver commemorative silver coin issued by the U.S. Treasury in 1921. It is a centennial coin with an exclusive gift box customized with the Wanxiang logo, which possesses both sentimental and historical values.

Mr. Fuqiang Yu , Vice General Manager of CRRC Sifang, drew the second prize in the lottery.

Since the outbreak, this was the first offline gathering that allowed everyone to spend a joyful weekend with great excitement and inspiration. All members of CGCC Chicago took a group photo to keep this moment in their memory. CGCC Chicago will have more activities in the second half of the year, and we look forward to your participation.
