On June 26, 2019, the 2019 Governor’s Export Awards Ceremony, organized by Governor J.B. Pulitzer and the Illinois State Government, was held in Chicago. Illinois companies, exporting products and services outside the U.S., attended the ceremony and networking reception, together with local and foreign officials as well as many trade organizations.

Member companies of CGCC-Chicago – including Wanxiang America, CJS Trading, China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines were also invited to participate, while LI Jie, Executive Director of CGCC-Chicago, also joined. LI Gang, VP of Wanxiang America was invited as the guest of honor. Deputy Governor Juliana Stratton, members of the US Department of Commerce, and a number of officials from the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity  presented, including Hovan Asdourian, Director of the Chicago Office of the US Department of Commerce;
