On June 24, 2019, CGCC-Chicago held its Executive Committee meeting in the Chamber of Commerce office. NI Pin, Chairman of the CGCC-Chicago and President of Wanxiang America; President XU and President LIU of the Bank of China, Chicago Branch; ZHANG Qiang, President of CJS Trading; Counselor ZOU Xiaoming and Consul SUN Xiaojie of the Chinese Consulate in Chicago as well as LI Jie, Executive Director of CGCC’s Chicago Chapter, attended the meeting. Ms. Li first shared recent endeavors of CGCC-Chicago and the work plan for the second half of 2019. Members of the Executive Committee issued their work proposals. The meeting decided that the CGCC-Chicago will promote the annual gala and charity activities in the second half of the year to better serve its members.
In July, CGCC-Chicago will go on a roadshow in China together with World Business Chicago. During the roadshow, CGCC-Chicago intends to highlight its annual gala and introduce the investment environment of the Midwest to leaders of Chinese companies. CGCC-Chicago hopes to attract Chinese enterprises to the Midwest and to introduce American companies to China. Through various activities, CGCC-Chicago hopes to effectively integrate Chinese enterprises from various regions into CGCC’s system, to enhance the visibility of CGCC-Chicago in the Midwest, and to encourage the involvement of member companies.
In order to express gratitude for President XU of the Bank of China’s Chicago branch for his contribution to the CGCC over the past years, Chairman Pin NI presented gifts on behalf of all members. We expressed a warm farewell to President XU, and welcomed President LIU to the position at Bank of China, Chicago Branch.
