Since the end of last year, CGCC-Chicago has successively held two workshops about “legal risks and coping strategies faced by Chinese companies operating in the U.S. under the new China-U.S. relations”. Topics included 301 tariffs, economic sanctions, export controls, etc., which analyzed the import and export challenges of enterprises from the legal level and were well received by members.

This time, CGCC-Chicago, from the perspective of optimizing supply chain, will again hold a workshop on this series of topics and share the following with member companies:

  • US import tariffs and BOND
  • China commodity inspection / customs situation
  • Second hand machinery and equipment export / import
  • Cross-border e-commerce and imports into the U.S.
  • Imports of automobiles/power products into the U.S.
  • US Customs Clearance Authorized POA
  • Open discussion: discussion on supply chain/logistics topics

The two hours of discussion hope to give you insights on:

  • Analysis of import and export cases that occur frequently during the past two years
  • Identify and avoid fines and confiscations imposed by customs and quarantine authorities that should not occur
  • How to effectively control corporate logistics costs in the context of US-China tariffs
