China General Chamber of Commerce USA – Chicago (CGCC-Chicago) is a nonprofit member-based organization representing the Chinese companies in the Midwest. Its mission is to promote the bilateral trade and Chinese investments between the nine states in the Midwest including Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, and Wisconsin. The foreign direct investment (FDI) from China to the Midwest reached $22.9 billions in 2018, creating about 45,000 local jobs, while the export trade volume from the Midwest to China reached $31.2 billions in 2017, creating 216,900 exporting jobs.

With the theme of “Synergy”, the 4th CGCC – Chicago Annual Gala will celebrate the achievements of the forty-year relations between China and the United States. The gala aims to consolidate the China-US relationship through a series of highlight events, such as Investment Forum, High Level Armchair Discussions, Round Table Meetings, Invest in the Midwest Showcase, Dinner Banquet, Award Ceremony. These events facilitate interactions between representatives from the government, companies, local vendors and startups, both on the day of the gala and throughout the year.

美国中国总商会芝加哥（CGCC-Chicago）是一家非营利性会员组织，代表中国在美国中西部九个州（即科罗拉多州，伊利诺伊州，印第安纳州，艾奥瓦州，堪萨斯州，密西根州，明尼苏达州，密苏里州和威斯康辛州）的公司。

自2016年以来，美国中国总商会芝加哥每年举办年度盛会，平均吸引600位嘉宾，其中包括来自美国的中资企业代表，来自中国的高潜力投资者，来自中国14个省市的投资代表团，以及两国政府官员。 从中国到美国中西部的外国直接投资在2018年达到了229亿美元，创造了约45,000个本地就业岗位；而从中西部到中国的出口贸易额在2017年达到了312亿美元，创造了216,900个出口岗位。

第四届美国中国总商会芝加哥年会将以“协同”为主题，庆祝中美四十年关系取得的成就。此次盛会旨在通过一系列重点活动巩固中美关系，如投资论坛，高级扶手椅讨论，圆桌会议，投资中西部展览，颁奖典礼晚宴等。这些活动促进来自政府，企业，当地供应商和初创企业的代表间的交流。
