The China General Chamber of Commerce U.S.A. – Chicago recently hosted a conference with a delegation from Ningxia, delving into potential commercial collaborations between the United States and Ningxia, with a specific focus on the wine business.
CGCC Chicago, driven by the goal of raising awareness about Ningxia wines, is set to collaborate with the Ningxia delegation. Together, they will showcase Ningxia’s rich wine culture and craftsmanship during the 2024 China Roadshow and annual meeting.
Yuzhen Bai, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Ningxia, highlighted Ningxia Wine as “China’s national gift,” noting that President Xi Jinping presented President Emmanuel Macron with six bottles of Ningxia wines during their meeting in Bali last year. With significant day-night temperature variations, abundant sunshine, rich soil, and cutting-edge technology, Ningxia stands as a treasure trove for grape cultivation and wine brewing. Having successfully exported its renowned wines to the EU, Australia, and Japan, Ningxia now aspires to make a mark in the American market.
In a recent address at the APEC San Francisco meeting, President Xi Jinping articulated a vision for China-U.S. relations, emphasizing the importance of the people, civil society, youth, and localities. Aligning with this vision, CGCC Chicago is poised to collaborate with Ningxia in the education sector. This collaboration aims to foster exchanges in youth development, humanities, and culture, contributing to a deeper understanding between the two nations.
CGCC Chicago is devoted to bridging the states with China by relentlessly inviting more delegations from China to enrich the substance of Sino-U.S. cooperation and rejuvenate Sino-U.S. friendly relations.
